Artificial Intelligence is shapinh the recruitment industry
Regardless of the size of the company and the industry, HR is at the center of everything! Your success all comes down to just a straightforward question: Do I have the right talents in place with the right skills for the proper role? In the end, it is all about having the right team in place to execute your strategy! Trying to answer that question may not be as simple as it seems. You will usually find some significant improvements to be made in hiring processes, training methods, performance management, and employees’ well-being culture.
Technology is not optional anymore to support your decision-making, and you need to be more efficient in your processes. Let’s just take the example of your recruitment process: Hiring remains a very slow process for most companies. HR leaders receive on average 250 resumes per vacancy, and it takes on average two months to hire a manager. At C- level, the hiring process can take up to 6 months. Artificial intelligence is changing the way to find and pre-select talents. It provides a sense of objectivity in the hiring process, such as scoring candidates and searching for specific skills and attributes.
After completing a series of tests, most companies do not give candidates candid feedback to explain why they were not successful; AI gives instant and objective feedback on their areas of improvement and suggests potential training courses to keep improving. For example, during video interviews, you may also use an AI-driven system to evaluate candidates’ body language, voice, and word choice. This additional analysis is just an example of the available tools, which will then be used to give each candidate an’ employability’ score, making the decision even more objective for recruiters. All candidates deserve the same opportunity, and AI avoids any sort of discrimination. It reduces bias and builds diversity!
As a human being, you will always have the final say! But instead of interviewing dozens of candidates, your team leaders will only have to interview the top 3! It simply means saving time and money for your company while being more efficient, reducing the effects of unconscious bias such as the inherently human prejudices, personal preferences, and beliefs.
